Extremely comfortable and well appointed with great care taken to make sure all the details of the room - comfy bed, useful box of necessities such as plug adaptors - were in place. Welcoming and helpful host - available to answer questions and check we had what we needed, kind Abd friendly. Great location - close to the beautiful beaches and coast path but in a quiet and peaceful part of Hermanus. Nice views to the sea and mountains. Also well known to the available and affordable local taxi firms when we didn’t want to walk or use our car.

This is a fabulous BnB close to the main beaches in Hermanus. We had views of both the mountains and the sea. The owner was very friendly and the breakfasts were good. We spent more on this stay than we are accustomed to, but it was worth it.

Very beautiful accomodation with amazing hosts, a beautiful view from the upper floor and a tasty breakfast. The hotel is very close to the beach and the cliff path. The rooms were super clean. Theres also some restaurants in the area, however, the center of Hermanus is a short drive away (theres plenty of parking possibilities there too). The hotel has parking spaces and is in a beautiful and quiet area. The owners are very caring, fast responding and will ensure a great stay. Thank you!

We loved our stay in Hermanus! The Lavender Manor is in walking distance to a lovely beach trail and a delicious and friendly local restaurant. Our room was spacious and comfy, our hosts affable and accomodating, and the breakfast ample and tasty as well. Hermanus is a lovely place to drive around to explore the excavation at Klipgat Cave and the cute town of Stanford for lunch and some gallery hopping.

Hostess, location, every space at the guesthouse was lovely, the bar, the breakfast, the service. I took my friends for a night, to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was such a pleasant experience given that all my friends, despite being over 30 - were feeling quite festive but our host was so lovely, understanding and really made us feel good. We all loved our rooms and the facilities, as well as the breakfast. Our host also advised us on a lovely restaurant - Dutchies - which is a short walk away so that was a winner too! 100% would recommend.

It felt like home away from home. The beautiful rooms are cosy and impeccably clean. One can taste the scrumptious Continental and full English breakfasts were prepared by loving hands. The hosts, Kobus and Marelise, are warm, very friendly people, that made our stay exceptional. We arrived as strangers and left as friends! Will most DEFINITELY return!

Beautiful spacious room and huge windowed lounge all to ourselves. All the positive reviews online were true. Genial helpful staff, good breakfast, great views. Huge perfect beach, dramatic waves, other beaches via the cliff path within a few minutes walk. Good food at the nearby beach restaurant.

- The place was very clean - It was very close to beach - We received complementary water (both still and sparkling) - The breakfast was delicious - We were able to spot whales from the roof top :) - The staff was very friendly and nice to us In total an absolutely recommendable place!

it was our second stay in this hotel after 2023 and the hotel is still fantastic very near from grotto beach in hermanus the staff and managers are also very friendly. rooms are big and very clan and the breakfast is also very good we will be back
